BEFORE RACE DAY
- Please come on time to Athlete Check-In to collect the Race kit before the race.
- If your child is unwell, please do not let him / her participate in the event.
- Please clear the path for kids to race safely. Do not block the course.
- Please refrain from entering the Start Line area, Course, and Finish Line Area during the event. This may be a hazard for other kids in the area.
- Parents will receive a wristband with their child’s BIB number when collecting the Race Kit. This wristband will be needed at the Pick-up Area to collect your kids after they finish the race.
- Please do not rush your children during the event. KIDS RUN Presented by ILA event is to have fun and enjoy the race.
- NO PRESSURE. It is not about winning as there are no prizes – this is an unranked race. Every child is a champion by being here on race day. Therefore, the organizers will not announce the rankings of the young athletes.
RACE DAY
DO’s
- Parent can help kids put their Race BIB on their Event Shirt, tie their shoe laces before starting the race.
- Parents can stand outside the Start Area and Race Course to watch and cheer for their kids.
- To ensure the safety of our young athletes, only parents with wristbands provided by the organizers will be allowed into the designated Pick-up Area after the race.
DON’Ts
- Do not enter the Start area and Pen area of the KIDS RUN Presented by ILA.
- Do not enter the run courses, run alongside the kids, or obstruct other kids’ path to the Finish line.
- Do not enter the emergency route without first obtaining approval from the Organizer.
- Do not enter the nutrition and recovery area to meet your kids at the Finish line without providing the correct wristband.
